Clint Powell is
one of CameronUniversity’s two assistant
baseball coaches for the 2010 season. Powell transferred to CameronUniversity from OdessaCollege
his sophomore year, and he quickly became a great attribution to the Aggie
baseball team as a catcher and second baseman for 3 years. Clint then became a graduate asistant for our men's baseball team. Powell is the son of
Franklin and D.J. Powell, and he has a brother who is expected to be the Aggie's ace pitcher this season. He has completed his undergraduate degree in Health &
Physical Education here at Cameron, and Powell is now pursuing his masters degree while helping the CU
baseball team tip off the beginning of their highly anticipated season.
Kyle Moody comes to CameronUniversity’s baseball program as a student who brings a great deal of experience and knowledge as a baseball pitcher. Moody played at Vernon JC from 1999-2001 and at USAO from 2002-2004, coached his former USAO team for 2
years (in which they qualified for the qualified for Sooner Athletic Conference
tournament both of the years he coached), and he helped bring the Chickasha Athletics to a NBC
World Series appearance. Kyle has a bachelor's degree in Business Management and received
his master's degree in Pedagogy from TexasTechUniversity.
Kyle is married to Summer Moody, and they have a one year old daughter named Amelia.
