Aggies named to All-Conference team
BARTLESVILLE, Oklahoma (March 5) – At the Lone Star Conference's annual postseason awards banquet, three Aggie men's basketball players were named to the LSC North Division All-Conference team. Senior guard Dave Smith was named to the LSC All-Conference First Team, and senior guard/forward Mekaile Reed and junior forward Kallan Glasgow were named to the LSC All-Conference Honorable Mention Team. Additionally, head coach Wade Alexander was named the LSC Co-Coach of the Year.

Aggies end magical season in playoffs
BARTLESVILLE, Oklahoma (March 5) – It wasn’t exactly the way the Cameron men’s basketball team (14-13, 7-5 LSC North) wanted to see their season end, but what a season it was. This year the Aggies far surpassed all preseason expectations and ended 2008-2009 with a 94-65 loss to the rival Mustangs of Midwestern State University (21-6, 10-2 LSC South) in the opening round of the Lone Star Conference Championship tournament.

Aggies cruise past Tigers in finale
LAWTON, Oklahoma (February 28) – It was the perfect send-off for six seniors as the Cameron Aggie men’s basketball team (14-13, 7-5 LSC North) routed the East Central Tigers (6-22, 1-11 LSC North) today in the Aggie Gym. CU defeated ECU in decisive fashion by the score 93-65, for their school-record seventh Lone Star Conference North Division win. Today was the 2008-2009 regular season finale; CU is headed to the postseason.

Aggies headed to postseason
DURANT, Oklahoma (February 25) – Of all the milestones set tonight by the Cameron Aggie men’s basketball team (13-13, 6-5 LSC North), the most important was CU’s clinching of a postseason berth for the first time since the 1997-1998 season. With a 64-58 road victory over the Southeastern Oklahoma State Savage Storm (5-22, 2-10 LSC North), the Aggies secured a spot in this year’s Lone Star Conference Championship tournament.

CU falls to #9 UCO on Homecoming
LAWTON, Oklahoma (February 21) – In Cameron University’s annual Homecoming game, the Aggie men’s basketball team (12-13, 5-5) fell to the nationally-ranked #9 Central Oklahoma Bronchos (22-3, 9-1 LSC North) by the score 85-62. CU kept their opponents in check for much of the game, but in the end UCO was simply too much. The loss gives the Bronchos the season sweep of the Aggies and drops CU back to .500 in North Division play.

Aggies make history
TAHLEQUAH, Oklahoma (February 18) – With a pivotal 59-53 victory tonight in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the Cameron Aggie men’s basketball team (12-12, 5-4 LSC North) improved their Lone Star Conference North Division record to 5-4, breaking the school record for divisional wins in a season. Tonight the Aggies knocked off the Northeastern State RiverHawks (10-15, 5-5 LSC North) in a game with huge playoff implications.
