After delays, CU takes 2nd at WinStar

THACKERVILLE, Oklahoma (March 9) – After a day and a half of rain delays, the Red River Intercollegiate men's golf tournament finally got underway at the WinStar Golf Course in Thackerville, Oklahoma. Playing most of the two-round event on Tuesday, the Aggies surged to 2nd place with a team score of 604 (300-304). CU defeated a number of conference and regional teams in the tournament, so the 2nd place finish ahead of schools like St. Edward's, Midwestern State, and Central Oklahoma was especially important. CU next hits the links on March 22-23 at the Midwestern State Invite at the Wichita Falls C.C.
