Aggies fall to East Central
GAME BOXSCORE >> ADA, Okla. (Jan. 29) - Darren Randall and Jason Wilkerson proved to be too much for the Cameron men's basketball team Thursday night. The duo combined for 58 points, including 31 in the first half, leading East Central to an 84-72 win over the Aggies in Lone Star Conference North Division action at ECU's Kerr Center.
The loss was the ninth straight defeat for the Aggies, who fell to 5-13 overall and 0-3 in LSC North play. East Central ended a seven-game losing skid with the win, improving to 6-12 and 1-2.
Cameron will try to end the skid at home on Saturday. The Aggies host Southeastern Oklahoma State in an LSC North Division contest scheduled to tipoff at 4 p.m.

Wilkerson, the Preseason Player of the Year in the LSC North, had six rebounds and 15 points at halftime, while Randall, a 6-6 junior guard, added 16 points before intermission to stake the Tigers to a 38-27 lead. Wilkerson, the sixth leading scorer in the Lone Star Conference entering Thursday's contest, finished with 30 points. Randall hit 10-of-15 from the floor to finish with 28.
Marcus Girtmon led the Aggies with 20 points and a game-high 13 rebounds. Jeremy Amos added 20 points, as well, including 15 in the second half. Amos was 7-of-15 from the field, including 6-of-12 fron three-point range.
But Cameron again struggled inside. The Aggies were outrebounded 42-32 and got to the free throw line for eight few attempts. East Central went 22-of-24 from the charity stripe, while the Aggies converted 13-of-16.
