Aggie season ticket outlets announced

LAWTON, OK (Aug. 21) - Fans of the Cameron volleyball and basketball teams now have more than one way to purchase season tickets to watch their favorite Aggie teams. Cameron has teamed with four community partners to provide local ticket outlet locations for those seeking to reserve their seat to witness the exciting action at Aggie Gym this season.

In addition to continuing on-campus efforts through the Cameron business office, University officials have designated Lawton/Ft. Sill YMCA, Pappy's Corner, Premier Orthopaedics of Lawton and Raymond James Financial Services as Aggie Season Ticket Outlets. With additional outlets expected to be announced, it's never been easier for fans to purchase season tickets for Cameron athletic events.

Season tickets offer a significant savings over the regular gate admission prices to Cameron games. Volleyball season tickets, which include admission to all nine home contests for the 2004 season, as well as additional matches played as part of the annual Cameron Coca-Cola Classic in September, are $35 each. Basketball season tickets, good for both men's and women's games, are just $75. A combination season ticket for both sports, allowing admission to over 30 Cameron contests, is $100.

Coach Kim Vinson's Cameron volleyball squad begins its quest for another NCAA postseason appearance and Lone Star Conference title on Friday in the Rockhurst University Invitational in Kansas City, Mo. The Aggies open the home portion of their schedule on Sept. 10, against nationally ranked West Texas A&M University.

The Aggie basketball teams open the season on the road, as well, with a string of exhibition games against NCAA Division I opponents. Coach Garrette Mantle's Aggie men return home to host Mid-America Christian University in a benefit contest on Nov .15. The game is not included in the season ticket package, in order to maximize Cameron's support of the nationwide Coaches vs. Cancer initiative. Coach Dick Halterman and the Lady Aggie basketball squad hit the court at Aggie Gym for the first time on Nov. 26-27, as host of the annual Cameron Thanksgiving PowerAde Classic.
