LAWTON, Okla. (April 8) - Casey Seabolt's three-run homer off the top of the center field fence put the bounce back in the Cameron offense Friday against Central Oklahoma.

The shot was one of two homers for Coach Brent Shaw's Lady Aggies in the second game of a Lone Star Conference North Division twinbill, as Cameron forged a split with the 16th-ranked Bronchos by winning the nightcap 4-1. UCO won the first game, 4-1.

The win snapped a five-game losing streak for CU and improved the Lady Aggies to 9-29 overall and 5-15 in LSC North play. Cameron will look to add to its win total on Tuesday, hosting East Central University in the final home games of the 2005 season.

Friday's second game was deadlocked in a scoreless tie before the Lady Aggies took control in the third. Kelly Holden walked to open the frame and moved to third on a one-out single by Vanessa Rodriguez. Seabolt then lifted a pitch to deep center field and watched as the ball bounced off the top of the fence and beyond to give the Lady Aggies the lead.

Central Oklahoma answered with a run in the top of the fourth, but Nicole Fleming put the score at its final margin with a solo home run to center field in the bottom of the fourth.

Jessica Hutton (3-9) got the win for the Lady Aggies on the mound, allowing just one run on six UCO hits. She struck out three and walked one. Cameron had just three hits in the game - the single by Rodriguez and the homers by Seabolt and Fleming, but scored four runs for the first time in seven games.

Central Oklahoma (32-12, 16-4 LSC North) jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the fourth inning of Friday's first contest. The Bronchos got an RBI double from Cody Morrell before Tommie Mitts rapped a two-run homer to center.

UCO made it a 4-0 game on an RBI triple by Lauren Moore in the seventh before Cameron broke up the shutout when Melinda Farrow was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.
