 Aggies wash away ‘Cats with sweep LAWTON, Oklahoma (March 11) – Despite being rained on for much of the afternoon, the Aggie softball team (10-8) came away with a big double-header sweep of the Abilene Christian Wildcats (8-13) today at Cameron Field. Pioneers upset Aggies with sweep LAWTON, Oklahoma (March 6) - The Cameron Aggie softball team (8-8) was in action at home today against the Texas Woman's University Pioneers (14-6). Both matchups were taken by TWU with game one scored 8-5 (in extra innings), and game two at 5-0. FULL STORY>>

Aggies; Martini LSC's HoW RICHARDSON, Texas (February 23) – A day after being named to the Abilene Christian CBS Insurance Classic All-Tournament Team alongside sophomore pitcher Carrie Harvey and freshman infielder Drew Wright, CU freshman outfielder Leslie Martini was named the LSC North Division Hitter of the Week by conference offices. CU softball goes 5-1 at ACU Invite ABILENE, Texas (February 20) – You’d never know they hadn’t seen the field in two weeks by the way the Cameron Aggie softball team (7-4) played this weekend. At a rescheduled Abilene Christian Invitational, the Aggies went 5-1 and defeated two nationally-ranked teams. CU was originally scheduled to play in the South Central Region Shootout this weekend. Aggies finish St. Mary's Invite 2-3 SAN ANTONIO, Texas (February 7) – The 2010 Cameron softball season began with a 2-3 showing at this weekend's St. Mary's Invitational tournament. CU (2-3) defeated the likes of Texas A&M-Kingsville 8-1 and Texas-Permian Basin 4-1 at the event, but fell to Tarleton State 4-1, #22 West Texas A&M 13-0, and Eastern New Mexico by the score 8-4.
