 Aggies end season in 2nd round DURANT, Oklahoma (April 25) – Cameron’s softball team (32-22, 17-7 LSC North) saw it’s 2009 season come to an end today in their second game of the Lone Star Conference Championship tournament. A day after falling to the #5 Angelo State Rambelles 11-3, the Aggies lost to the Southeastern Oklahoma State Savage Storm by the score 6-3. Today’s game went into extra (nine) innings. FULL STORY>>

Aggies lose, but still alive at LSC’s DURANT, Oklahoma (April 24) – With the toughest road to the Lone Star Conference title, the Cameron Aggie softball team (32-21, 17-7 LSC North) opened up the LSC’s postseason tournament this afternoon with a tough 11-3 loss to the #5 Angelo State Rambelles. Boren wins POW, Aggies win awards RICHARDSON, Texas (April 23) – Aggie senior first baseman Jenna Boren was named the 2009 Lone Star Conference Player of the Year in the North Division for her superb play all season long. Boren was named to the LSC All-Conference First team as well, alongside senior shortstop Megan Young, senior rightfielder Shareena Pulse, and freshman pitcher Carrie Harvey who was also named the LSC Freshman of the Year for 2009. Cameron was also represented on the LSC All-Conference Second team by junior pitcher Ashton McBride and junior leftfielder Kelly Lentz. FULL STORY>>
Four Aggies win All-Academic RICHARDSON, Texas (April 23) – Four Aggie softballers were honored by the Lone Star Conference today for their hard work off the field and in the classroom. CU senior first baseman Jenna Boren and junior pitcher Ashton McBride were both named to the 2009 LSC All-Academic Team, while junior centerfielder Courtney Clifford and senior third baseman Chelsey Jordan were both named to the LSC All-Academic Commissioner's Honor Roll. Harvey wins third LSC Player of Week RICHARDSON, Texas (April 22) – Today the conference offices named freshman pitcher Carrie Harvey as the Lone Star Conference North Division Pitcher of the Week. This week's award is Harvey's third of the year. She and CU men's tennis player Daniel Pazos are the only Aggie student-athletes to win an LSC Player of the Week three times in the 2008-2009 season. Harvey is currently 19-5 on the year with a blistering 1.75 earned run average. FULL STORY>>
Seniors give CU big win in finale LAWTON, Oklahoma (April 18) – Propelled by the bats of their senior players, the Cameron Aggie softball team (32-18, 17-7 LSC North) worked out a split today with the rival Bronchos of Central Oklahoma (24-13, 16-6 LSC North). UCO came from behind to win the opener 5-2, but CU exacted revenge with an 8-1 victory in the finale. Today’s games were CU’s final home contests of the 2009 season. FULL STORY>>
