Associate AD Kim Vinson
Vinson is in her second year as Cameron's Associate Athletic Director, having been promoted to the position in the fall of 2006. Vinson also serves as Cameron's Compliance Coordinator and Senior Woman Administrator and has been active at the national level as a past member of the NCAA Division II Legislation Committee.
In addition to her administrative duties at Cameron, Vinson also spent 15 seasons as head coach of the nationally ranked Aggie women's volleyball team. From 1990 to 2005, Vinson compiled 271 victories as Cameron's head coach and led the Aggies to a conference championship in 1998. Under Vinson's direction, the Aggie volleyball team advanced to NCAA Division II Regional Championship play two times, in 1998 and 2001.
As a four-time Lone Star Conference North Division Coach of the Year Vinson led the Cameron Volleyball program to new heights, including a national ranking in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Division II Top 25 poll in three of the past seven seasons.
Prior to joining the Cameron staff, Vinson directed the Hardin-Simmons men's volleyball team to consecutive Trans-America Athletic Conference titles in 1984-85 and led the Hardin-Simmons women's team to the NAIA District 8 championship, as well. Vinson also served as a graduate assistant at Texas Tech University.
During her tenure at Hardin-Simmons, Vinson was selected as the NAIA Co-Coach of the Year in 1984. She graduated from Hardin-Simmons with her bachelor's degree in Education and moved on to receive her Master's degrees in Education from both Hardin-Simmons and Texas Tech.
