James Turk will assist Coach Haroun for the 2007 season while he completes his Bachelor’s degree at Cameron University. Prior to CU, Turk played defensive specialist on the men’s club team while attending the University of Texas-Arlington (SIVA Region).
Turk’s coaching experience began with the Victory Volleyball Club (Dallas) where he took a number of teams to the USA Junior National Tournament. He went on to serve as head coach at both Tyler Street Christian Academy (Oak Cliff, TX) and Trinity Christian Academy (Addison, TX).
Recently, Turk founded a Dallas-based volleyball club, Quicksand, and has coached a number of camps.
