Jackson chooses Smedley to lead Ags LAWTON, Oklahoma (February 15) – The Cameron Athletic Department and Athletic Director Jim Jackson today announced the hiring of Brianne Smedley as head coach of the Aggie volleyball team. She replaces John Haroun who left the team after just one season for personal reasons. Smedley comes to Cameron from Berry College, an NAIA school in Mount Berry, Georgia, where she was the head coach of the Vikings. FULL STORY>>

CU swept by UCO, season ends in semis CANYON, Texas (November 9) – After a very impressive late-season run, the Cameron Aggie volleyball team (14-16, 6-6 LSC) ended their season tonight after being knocked from the Lone Star Conference Championship tournament. CU’s playoff loss came courtesy of a 3-0 sweep at the hands of the Bronchos of the University of Central Oklahoma (31-5, 11-1 LSC). Aggies move on to Semis at LSC CANYON, Texas (November 8) – The surging Cameron Aggie volleyball team (13-15, 6-6 LSC) extended their season by another match today with a 3-1 sweep of the Midwestern State Mustangs (27-4, 10-2 LSC) in the first round of the Lone Star Conference Championship volleyball tournament. The Aggies, the #6 seed, defeated the Mustangs, the #3 seed, in a match that was scored 25-30, 30-28, 30-21, 30-20.FULL STORY>>

ends season with 3-1 win over ASU SAN ANGELO, Texas
(November 3) – In the final regular season match of the season, the Cameron
Aggie volleyball team (13-15, 6-6 LSC) defeated Angelo State University (6-21,
4-8 LSC) on the road in Texas. Cameron narrowly missed out on the sweep,
defeating the Rambelles 3-1 (31-29, 30-24, 25-30, 30-28). The match was
preceded by Angelo State’s

Aggies swept by ‘Cats ABILENE, Texas
(November 1) – Having already clinched a berth in the Lone Star Conference
Postseason tournament, the Cameron Aggie volleyball team (12-15, 5-6 LSC) hit
the road today for the first of their final two regular season matches. The
first stop on the trip was Abilene where the Aggies
took on the Wildcats of Abilene Christian University (14-12, 8-3 LSC). On ACU’s
Senior Night, the Aggies were swept by the Wildcats, 3-0 (18-30, 24-30, 28-30).

Lady Buffs squeak past tough Aggie team LAWTON, Oklahoma (October 27) – Did you hear that? That is the sound of West Texas A&M fans breathing a sigh of relief. This afternoon their Lady Buffs (27-7, 11-0 LSC), ranked #15 in the nation and #1 in the region, were given a run for their money against a hot Cameron Aggie (12-14, 5-5 LSC) volleyball team. In the match of the season, CU lost to WTAMU, 3-2, in an extremely close contest. The match lasted nearly three hours and was scored 33-35, 30-27, 33-31, 27-30, 9-15. FULL STORY>>
