Intercollegiate Tennis Association
Cameron tennis ranked #20, #45
SKILLMAN, New Jersey (November 17) – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) recently released their National NCAA Division II fall rankings and once again, both Aggie tennis teams are ranked in the top 50 best teams in the nation. The Aggie men’s team will start the 2010 spring season ranked at #20, while the women will begin at #45.

Moberg leads Aggies at LSC’s
WICHITA FALLS, Texas (October 10) – Both Cameron Aggie tennis teams traveled to Wichita Falls this weekend to participate in the Lone Star Conference Championship tournament hosted by Midwestern State University (MSU). After a tough weekend of competition, the Aggies managed to come home with two LSC titles and a handful of runner up awards.

Strong showing for CU at ITA’s
TOPEKA, Kansas (September 27) – The Cameron Aggie women’s tennis team traveled to Topeka, Kansas, this weekend to participate in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Regional Championship tournament. CU is in the southwest section of the tournament, a region which is described as one of the toughest in the country. CU finished the tournament with one representative in the final four of both the singles and the doubles draws.

Aggies begin season with rout
LAWTON, Oklahoma (September 16) – The Aggie men’s and women’s tennis teams officially started their season today. Things could have not started better after both teams captured two straight victories this afternoon.

Aggies come up short at LSC's
WICHITA FALLS, Texas (April 23) – The #45 Cameron women’s tennis team saw its season end today as the Aggies fell to the Bronchos of the University of Central Oklahoma. CU faced off against UCO in the first round of the Lone Star Conference tournament and lost 6-2.

George tops Aggie LSC honors
RICHARDSON, Texas (April 22) – Senior Irene George was named to the Lone Star Conference All-Conference women's tennis team today for both singles and doubles. George, who played all season long at the top singles and doubles position for the Aggie women, was CU's only representative on the singles team. She was joined by doubles partner Sophia Rich on the doubles team as Cameron's top tandem. The #1 doubles duo of George and Rich had a nearly flawless 2008-2009 season on the court and in the classroom, and was a big reason the team once was at #25 in the national rankings.
