Casey KregerCU beats heat in Sooner Invite
NORMAN, Oklahoma (April 26) – In the sweltering heat of Norman, Oklahoma, the Aggie cross country team this weekend participated in the Sooner Invite hosted by the University of Oklahoma. Despite the intense heat and stiff competition, the Aggies put together an impressive showing that included two personal records and a new school record. "I thought the guys ran real well," Head Coach Matt Aguero said. "They guys were a bit disappointed in their times but we had some good races against some tough schools." Junior Casey Kreger's time of 4:13.53 in the 1500-meter run is a new school and personal record. The Sooner Invite was the final track meet on the Aggie cross country team's spring track schedule.
